      "text": "A Day in the Life Consists of:",
      "content": "\n<li>Planning and coordinating IT security programs and policies across assigned information systems</li>\n<li>Managing and controlling system changes and assessing their security impact</li>\n<li>Supporting the certification and accreditation (C&amp;A) process in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies</li>\n<li>Maintaining operational security posture and performing day-to-day security operations</li>\n<li>Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information</li>\n<li>Administering user identification and authentication mechanisms for assigned Information Systems (IS)</li>\n<li>Maintaining records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, and other infrastructure, including system upgrades</li>\n<li>Providing configuration management (CM) for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware</li>\n<li>Supporting senior ISSOs with implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies</li>\n<li>Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of security documentation</li>\n"

      "content": "<div>\n\n<li>Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university</li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity</li>\n<li>Experience in at least one of the following: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques/tools</li>\n<li>DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Systems Technical (IAT), Level 1 or higher</li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals&nbsp;</li>\n<li>Experience with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171&nbsp;</li>\n<li>Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance, OR the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access</li>\n<li>Experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements, implementation, or compliance programs</li>\n\n</div>"
