    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>NOV&nbsp;Pressure Control Group&nbsp;is currently recruiting for a&nbsp;<strong>Top Drive Electrical Assembler </strong>to join our team at 12950 West Little York Road. The main responsibilities of this role include:&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>The Electrical Assembler III is a senior-level technician responsible for assembling complex electrical systems, interpreting advanced schematics, and troubleshooting electrical issues with minimal supervision. This position plays a key role in quality assurance, mentoring junior assemblers, and supporting engineering and continuous improvement efforts.</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble and wire complex electrical systems, including panels, harnesses, and integrated assemblies.</li>\n <li>Interpret and work from detailed electrical schematics, blueprints, wire lists, and layout diagrams.</li>\n <li>Perform precision soldering, cable routing, and installation of connectors, terminals, and components.</li>\n <li>Conduct thorough functional testing, including continuity, voltage, and resistance checks using multimeters or other testing tools.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and component issues at the assembly level.</li>\n <li>Participate in first-article builds, pilot runs, or prototype assembly projects in collaboration with engineering.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor Electrical Assemblers I and II, promoting best practices and consistent workmanship.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate assembly and quality records; report nonconformances and recommend solutions.</li>\n <li>Support process improvements and assist with the development or revision of work instructions and assembly documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble production tools and equipment per engineering drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.</li>\n <li>Set up and test units or subassemblies to required specifications.</li>\n <li>Communicate with engineers to resolve problems related to production tools.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot production tools and repair as necessary</li>\n <li>Perform assignments in accordance with written procedures, routers, and drawings.</li>\n <li>Ensure quality documents are completed in compliance with company procedures.</li>\n <li>Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.</li>\n <li>4-6 years’ electrical assembly experience required.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with soldering, crimping, and interpreting wiring schematics.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of electrical components, circuits, and safe handling practices.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with inspection tools, multimeters, and ESD protocols.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.</li>\n <li>Prior experience assembling control panels, PLC systems, or industrial wiring applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fast-paced production floor environment.</li>\n <li>Standing, bending, and manual dexterity required for the majority of the shift.</li>\n <li>May involve lifting up to 50 lbs and working with repetitive tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS </strong>(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
