Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Vice President Finance is accountable and responsible for the leadership, management, performance and operation of the finance departments of Accounting, Payroll, Revenue Audit, Purchasing & Warehouse, Drop & Count, and Casino Cage & Credit.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for managing, developing, planning, and implementing procedures for the overall efficient operation of the revenue audit, planning & analysis, purchasing & warehouse, AML/Title 31, drop & count, and cage & credit departments.</li>\n <li>Responsible for management and analysis of Louisiana Live Casino's financial performance. </li>\n <li>Develops and manages internal controls for previously mentioned departments.</li>\n <li>Works with External Auditors to ensure timely completion of the year-end audit.</li>\n <li>Handles timely and accurate financial reporting for internal departments and external agencies, the State Gaming Agency, Banks etc.</li>\n <li>Manages and is accountable for cash disbursement and controls for the Cage operations.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, government regulations, and internal controls.</li>\n <li>Active executive involvement in establishing Louisiana Live as a Community leader.</li>\n <li>Responsible for leadership and management and the efficient operations of purchasing and inventory control.</li>\n <li>Responsible for reviewing and approving capital expenditure budgets and projects</li>\n <li>Responsible for negotiating with vendors on large purchases / contracts.  </li>\n <li>Development and training of staff, interviews, hires, and conducts performance evaluations of direct reports. </li>\n <li>Manages and ensures detail and accurate performance evaluations of all members of the department under the span of control.</li>\n <li>Ability to extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.</li>\n <li>Responsible for financial reporting to the Chief Financial Officer</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve complex problems and quickly analyze to present solutions in a clear and concise manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to balance requests from multiple stakeholders at same time, i.e. owners, CFO, General Manager, etc</li>\n <li>Ability to manage, use and interpret relevant computer financial software packages inclusive but not limited to Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Word.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in an open dialogue environment with a competitive spirit. </li>\n <li>Gaming industry experience is strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience in a high service-minded environment is a plus.</li>\n <li>Outstanding communications and presentation skills.</li>\n <li>Experience in working with gaming regulators.</li>\n <li>Regional experience is also a plus.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of state and local tax laws, gaming laws, and banking regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in accounting and finance as a department head or financial manager with 2 years of experience managing processes, department level managers and functions.</li>\n <li>A 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience. </li>\n <li>Graduate degree MBA with finance management preferred. </li>\n <li>CPA or other professional accreditation preferred.</li>\n <li>Gaming industry experience is strongly preferred. </li>\n <li>Experience in a high service-minded environment is a plus.  </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.</li>\n</ul>",
