If you are interested in growth opportunities that are second to none in the industry and making a difference in the lives of people in our community, this position is right for you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Excellent benefits package:</p>\n<p>-Company matching 401k-Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance-Disability and life insurance-Paid holidays, vacation, sick, and extended sick time</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Call and status outstanding claims with third party payors.</p>\n<p>· Review claims issues and make corrections as needed and rebill.</p>\n<p>· Utilize claims clearing house to review and correct claims. Resubmit electronically when available.</p>\n<p>· Review explanation of benefits to ascertain that claim processed and paid correctly.</p>\n<p>· Complete adjustment forms if any adjustments need to be made to an account and attach all supporting documentation.</p>\n<p>· Manage daily productivity via patient accounting system and productivity reports. Needs to maintain an average of 30-40 accounts worked per day minimum.</p>\n<p>· Prorate patient accounts and monitor that balance due is in the correct financial class.</p>\n<p>· Report an overview of the week to the BOD and participate in AR meetings.</p>\n<p>· Gather and interpret data from system and understands appropriate course of action to take and initiates time-sensitive and strategic steps resulting in payment.</p>\n<p>· Assist financial counselors as needed.</p>\n<p>· Alert Financial Counselors and Business Office Director of all benefit eligibility matters that suggest or challenge reimbursement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>GALAX</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p>\n<p>· High school diploma or equivalent required.</p>\n<p>· Three or more years’ prior admissions and or collections experience in a hospital setting required.</p>\n<p>· Psychiatric experience preferred.</p>\n<p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p>\n<p>· Not applicable</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>GALAX</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>",
