The role of the ELL teacher is to build teacher capacity and their understanding of research-based instructional practices for ELLs and all students.  They are responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching and providing a formative cycle of feedback to collaborative teams.
