Operates trucks with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds per gross vehicle weight.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Delivery will be primarily to construction sites.</li><li>Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.</li><li>Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload cargo and other materials.</li><li>Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete</li><li>Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air, reports maintenance malfunctions to Fleet mechanics.</li><li>Drive local distance</li><li>Pre-trip and Post Trip inspections</li><li>Keep an electronic log of their activities.</li><li>Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.</li><li>And other duties as assigned within in the fleet department.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Clean Driving record</li><li>Class A CDL Driver Experience: 2 Years</li><li>Understands and fully aware of all DOT regulations and guidelines</li><li>Minimum1-2 years flatbed experience</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required license or certification:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must hold required commercial driver&rsquo;s license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.</li><li>Current Medical examiners Card</li></ul><p><strong><u>Work Environment</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
