    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Minimum Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, and read tape measures and other measuring devices.</li>\n <li>Successfully complete all safety training required by time constraints set by governmental regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect parts for proper form, fit and function.</li>\n <li>Assemble cranes and crane sub-assemblies for standard products in support of and meeting production schedules.&nbsp; Ensure bearings, seals and hydraulics fit and operate according to specifications.&nbsp; Operate and check sub-assemblies.</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining the flow of work through department.</li>\n <li>Ensure production specifications and quality standards are met at all levels of assembly.</li>\n <li>Incumbent will normally specialize and be fully proficient in one specific area and may be assigned to other final assembly functions as directed by supervisor.</li>\n <li>Work from shop orders, specifications, and other data or instructions to perform assigned operations.&nbsp; Varied duties may involve connection, adjustment and replacement of hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, solenoids, valves, gauges, piping, hoses and other system elements; the installation and connection of air vacuum tanks, hoses, tubing and other system components; the mounting, hookup and connection of engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components and units.</li>\n <li>Record logbook entries and maintain records for log and critical data, serial numbers, models, brands and other pertinent information.</li>\n <li>Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to supervisor.</li>\n <li>Repair or replace defective materials as required.</li>\n <li>Perform and verify torque operations; record in log.</li>\n <li>Other duties as determined by supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Environment:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p>This position is located on the production shop floor, in multiple buildings, and may be required to work outside in various weather conditions.&nbsp; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use tools or controls.&nbsp; The employee is frequently required to stand, reach, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.&nbsp; Incumbent will work in a typical assembly environment including the use of solvents, adhesives, hydraulic oil, petroleum products, etc.&nbsp; There is frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred or technical/vocational school diploma.</li>\n <li>3 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Health &amp; Safety Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.</li>\n <li>Perform job functions in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed.</li>\n <li>Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.</li>\n <li>Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Computer experience using a laptop to download programs, set parameters, and delete error codes.</li>\n <li>Certified in the charging and leak detection of A/C systems.</li>\n</ul>",
