Led by two veterinary technician specialists, <a href=\"https://partnervesc.com/team_member/heather-carter/\">Heather Carter</a> and <a href=\"https://partnervesc.com/team_member/christine-weaver/\" target=\"_blank\">Christine Weaver</a> , our Learning and Development Department has an impressive track record of helping Technicians achieve advanced certifications (such as a VTS) if desired.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<em><strong>To set you up for success from day 1,</strong></em></p><ul><li>We gift you a *wellness week of PTO after 90 days in your position. This includes 30-40 hours of extra time off dependent upon your weekly schedule. Partner Veterinary recognizes the demand that is on RVTs, and <strong>this wellness week allows you to rest and relax with a week off after your initial 90 days.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>What does your day look like with Partner?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Anesthesia is fundamental to almost every department in veterinary medicine. It is a vital service that requires hypervigilance, communication, and collaboration. Recognizing the importance of this skill, PVESC is looking for an anesthesia only LVT. Your primary case load will be for CT scans, MRIs, and any daytime emergency surgeries or procedures.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Your post anesthesia patient care will be minimal. You will coordinate with specialists to create drug protocols and anesthetic plans. Cases will be prioritized based on urgency, and you will work with a diverse patient population that will benefit from your advanced skills and talents. This role is ideal for the licensed veterinary technician who is focused on stellar anesthetic patient care, working with doctors who rely on your anesthetic knowledge to make informed decisions, and using advanced equipment to promote a safe/stress-free environment. Our psychologically safe workplace provides the framework for you to be successful in this role.
