          "text": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong>:</p><p>Non-supervisory role to assist and provide effective communications for maintenance team, reporting to Maintenance Manager.</p><p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:</p><p><em>Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:</em></p><ul><li>Ensuring safety and maintaining a safe work environment for all employees</li><li>Facilitates maintenance work requests from production floor, determines priority and ensures&#xa0; coworkers are aware of priority and assignments</li><li>Ensures team members comply with all safety and good Manufacturing Practices</li><li>Communicates to production, maintenance management, &#xa0;and quality assurance equipment break downs and estimated time needed to complete repairs</li><li>Confers with vendors, management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment</li><li>Conducts meetings at the end of each shift to update incoming maintenance personnel on status of break downs, repairs, and troubleshooting done during the previous shift.</li><li>Conducts meeting at start of shift to go over shift priorities and assignments as well as training.</li><li>Actively participates in preventive/predictive maintenance processes.</li><li>Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.</li><li>Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.</li><li>Leads inventory control</li><li>Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of&#xa0;maintenance policies and procedures.</li><li>This is a hands on position, carrying out maintenance work along with the team and setting a high example in your work.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Tools, materials, methods and practices used in mechanical maintenance related to production equipment.</li><li>PLC experience a plus</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics ( electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic )</li><li>Operation of power and manual tools.</li><li>Operation of light and heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to work 12 hours shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or craft training program.</li><li>2-5 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance function.</li><li>2-5 years’ previous industrial/manufacturing experience.</li><li>2-5 years’ electrical control’s experience</li><li>1-2 years previous leadership experience ( small team )</li><li>Experience with Computerized Maintenance Software</li><li>Light Microsoft office suite experience</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,740 USD - $91,520 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
