The Campus Police Officer establishes and maintains a safe atmosphere for the faculty, staff, students, and visitors at the institution by providing police and security services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">This is a Pert-time Position</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Essential Functions of the position:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Performing usual duties as a University police officer: patrolling entire campus, protecting and guarding property/persons from fire, theft, trespass and possible hazards, including traffic enforcement and maintaining the peace of the campus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Completes police and incident reports</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Investigating and prosecuting all reported criminal and internal complaints within WLU jurisdiction.
