We are a growing and fast-paced campus that offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services in a traditional clinical setting, as well as on our ranch, with the incorporation of the horse as part of a comprehensive evidence-based plan (hippotherapy.) Together, we can continue to help children grow by Leaps &amp; Bounds!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SLP Job Duties include:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>A Speech Language Pathologist-Pediatrics delivers excellent family-centered patient care, that aims to support functional goals and needs of the patient and their family. SLPs perform assessments and interpretation of evaluations and test results; determines speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription, and carries out a treatment plan that supports functional improvement across the lifespan.</p><ul><li>Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.</li><li>Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices and strategies.</li><li>Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.</li><li>Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, according to the law.</li><li>Maintain patient confidence and protects clinic operations by keeping information confidential, according to the law.</li><li>Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.</li><li>Develop speech therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.</li><li>Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.</li><li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li><li>Participate effectively as a member of the IEP team, but providing these services as part of a comprehensive education plan and in accordance with the written IEP, as needed.</li></ul><p>Compensation Range Based on Experience: $89,440 - $118,560</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits Include</strong>:</p><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision &amp; life insurance</li><li>401k with a 4% match</li><li>Student Loan Contributions</li><li>Accruing PTO</li><li>6 paid holidays</li><li>Paid sick days</li><li>Productivity bonus structure</li><li>Continuing education reimbursement.</li><li>Weekly meetings with your supervisor and department for ongoing support and collaboration.</li><li>There are substantial in-house opportunities for growth and development, as well as collaboration with our dynamic team.</li><li>Casual Fridays</li><li>Fun company events</li><li>Rewarding, fun, 1:1 patient care and connection with families!</li><li>Fun Events with Friends of Leaps &amp; Bounds, a 501c3 nonprofit, that supports our patients</li></ul>",
