The ideal candidate should have business acumen, transportation industry knowledge, and should be a creative problem solver.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties:</span></p>\n<p>Including but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interact with our surface transportation vendors, manage trucking capacity and assign them to our loads.</li>\n<li>Based on existing booked business, work with Operations and Sales Team teams to identify timeline for future shipments.</li>\n<li>Identify best routing for the execution of our shipments based on product readiness, freezers appointments, trucking and ocean carrier’s services availability.</li>\n<li>Address daily tactical issues with our internal customers and transportation vendors.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and performance. Offer ideas on how to implement positive changes.</li>\n<li>Identify core business and key destinations for each of our transportation vendors to make best match with our business.</li>\n<li>Rate requests, negotiations and management with our transportation vendors such as ocean carriers, rail, trucking, and drayage companies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceptional organizational skills</li>\n<li>High attention to detail</li>\n<li>Strong sense of urgency</li>\n<li>Results driven</li>\n<li>Ability to multitask &amp; prioritize</li>\n<li>Able to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and via email. </li>\n<li>Able to work independently and with other team members.</li>\n<li>Quick learner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.</li>\n<li>Ideally 1 - 2 years of experience in ocean transportation. </li>\n<li>Knowledge of refrigerated transportation preferred. </li>\n<li>Advanced skills in MS Outlook and Excel and Oracle.</li>\n<li>The ideal candidate should be pro-active, positive, energetic, and able to work under pressure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Language Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate is required to read, write, and, speak <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">English fluently</span> (this will be tested during the interview)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
