We are looking for<br>a dynamic individual who embodies our values of integrity and youth development. Under the<br>supervision of the Auxiliary Programs team, the Cello instructor will conduct a weekly class. The ideal<br>candidate will have experience with 2nd – 8th-grade students and an understanding of social and<br>emotional learning.</p><p><br>Responsibilities:<br>● Guide students in Cello fundamentals in small groups of 2-4 students.<br>● Provide individualized feedback to help students improve their skills.<br>● Design and deliver engaging lessons.<br>● Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners<br>● Conduct music lessons once a week.<br>● Communicate with families as needed via email.<br>● Build relationships with students, faculty, and family members.<br>● Enforce BSC principles and values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.<br>● Be an effective communicator who can guide students.<br>● Model professional leadership and encourage positive behavior by adhering to BSC rules and<br>regulations.<br>● Implement appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of students.</p><p><br>Qualifications:<br>● High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.<br>● Experience teaching Cello with school-age children.<br>● Preferred experience in youth music programming.<br>● Willingness to collaborate as part of a team and develop skills in working with individual<br>children and small groups.</p>",
