    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time and substitute basis in Mechatronics and Electrical courses.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's Degree in Mechatronics Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or related discipline. Required</li>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Preferred</li>\n <li>Formal coursework in Education. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) years of related work experience. Required</li>\n <li>Teaching experience at the high school, trade, or college level. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABILITIES AND SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required</li>\n <li>Developed organizational skills. Required</li>\n <li>Possession of a valid driver's license. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Instruct and evaluate student performance in Mechatronics and Electrical courses.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate written records of student performances and attendance and submit to the School office at the end of each semester.</li>\n<li>Assume responsibility for laboratory coordination and maintenance.</li>\n<li>Comply with College safety, hazardous waste disposal, and recycling policies.</li>\n<li>Supervise students in laboratory cleanup activities.</li>\n<li>Maintain office hours according to parttime agreement.</li>\n<li>participate in School assessment process.</li>\n<li>Maintain communication with School administrators as appropriate.</li>\n<li>Requisition supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and maintenance as appropriate.</li>\n<b>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</b>\n<li>Attend School and department meetings as requested</li>\n<h2>Physical Standards and Special Job Features</h2>None\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>The part-time rate for 2025/26 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven. The approved substitute pay rate is $48.31 per hour during the first week of substituting and the prorated part-time teacher rate for consecutive substitute assignments that exceed one week.\n<h2>College Statement</h2>This is not a complete itemization of all facets of this position.
