This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with a passion for medical education to lead and shape the next generation of internists.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>M.D. or D.O. from a recognized medical school.</li>\n <li>Board Certified in Internal Medicine.</li>\n <li>New Jersey Medical License, CDS and DEA</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience as a Program Director or Associate Program Director</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee and manage all aspects of the Internal Medicine Residency Program while ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement curriculum.</li>\n <li>Supervise and mentor residents and medical students.</li>\n <li>Oversee resident recruitment and evaluation.</li>\n <li>Oversee departmental Grand Rounds and CME programs.</li>\n <li>Champion patient quality and safety initiatives within the residency program.</li>\n <li>Represent the Department of Medicine on the Academic Affairs Committee.</li>\n <li>Provide compassionate and effective patient care.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.</li>\n <li>Join a collaborative network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.</li>\n <li>Opportunity to lead and shape a respected Internal Medicine Residency Program.</li>\n <li>Eligibility for faculty appointment to the <strong>Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $278,656.
