    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">JOB OVERVIEW</p><p>Swim Instructors are responsible for providing members with a high-quality experience to all ages and skill levels in a positive, safe, fun, and engaging environment. This position focuses on building swimming skills, teaching water safety, and gaining confidence in the water. Instructors will lead their own private lessons during 2 separate sessions in the summer with classes being scheduled anywhere between 8:30am and 10:30am. The lessons slots are 30 minutes long and are selected by the members, requiring instructors to be very organized and flexible.</p><p> </p><p>Essential Job Functions:  </p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Thoroughlyplan and deliver swim lessons tailored to skill level and age groups.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Teach water safety skills and proper swimming techniques&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure the safetyof allparticipants by continuing to enforce pool rules and supervision</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Be able to adapt lesson plans based on the swimmers needs, abilities and progress</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Communicating professionally and clearly with members, parents, and supervisors.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Maintain a fun and positive attitude to ensure a good learning environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Track all attendance and participation progress throughout every single session/lesson.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Arrive early to ensure you are ready and have equipment set up</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Cleaning equipment up after lessons&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Respond to emergencies appropriately and follow all safety protocols</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth daily operations every day</li></ul><p>Requirements:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Hold a current Lifeguard Certification OR a Swim Instructor Certification</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of the water safety practices</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to work Mon-Fri during 2separate5-week sessions</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience working with children, pools and/or teachingprefered</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Holdingstrong communicationand interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to continuously remain alert, attentive, and responsible in the pool environment&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Reliable, punctual, and able to work as both part of a team and individually</li></ul><p>Expected Pay: COMMISSION (Approximately $30 per lesson at 35 minute sessions)&nbsp;</p></div></div></div>\n",
