At Charah Solutions, our best begins with you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Charah Solutions offers: Competitive Pay, Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Short- & Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) with Company Contribution After 1 Year, Paid Time Off, Incredible Safety Record, and Well-Maintained Equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is responsible for equipment lubrication, contamination control, inspection and preventive maintenance activities for all mechanical systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordination of inventory of products to management</li>\n <li>Stocking inventory locations</li>\n <li>Use of tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions</li>\n <li>Draining and cleaning of reservoirs</li>\n <li>Mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements</li>\n <li>Filling reservoir topping off reservoirs</li>\n <li>Changing filters and breathers on reservoirs</li>\n <li>Operating filtration equipment</li>\n <li>Grease relubrication with manual and automatic dispensing equipment</li>\n <li>Maintenance of dispensing equipment and automatic systems</li>\n <li>Labeling and tagging reservoirs, equipment, inventory and delivery containers</li>\n <li>Printing and completing planned PM’s</li>\n <li>Updating schedules in systems, including adding notes to system and requesting work orders for maintenance repairs and activities</li>\n <li>Reporting discrepancies or conditions that require corrective, predictive or planned maintenance for production systems</li>\n <li>Performing various wet chemical analyses to monitor quality of gypsum byproduct to wallboard specifications</li>\n <li>Monitoring process feed product as well as wastewater treatment</li>\n <li>Assisting plant operators in problem solving by providing analytical support</li>\n <li>Providing daily reports of analyses</li>\n <li>Willingness to cross train in the FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) Lab and fill in two days a week collecting and testing Gypsum samples</li>\n <li>Must be able to operate lifting equipment (Fork Lift)</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform lockout-tag out procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n <li>Have mechanical aptitude</li>\n <li>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance</li>\n <li>Have a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems operation, contamination control and maintenance functions</li>\n <li>Previous work-related skill, knowledge and/or experience are required</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of operating moderately complex software and web-based programs for lubrication scheduling</li>\n <li>Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of lifting equipment (Fork Lift) required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of lockout-tag out procedures required</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment & Conditions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This position requires a flexible work schedule: 40 hours/week (Sunday-Thursday) or (Tuesday-Saturday) and/or overtime</li>\n <li>This position requires working in the internal and external environment</li>\n <li>Be subject to atmospheric conditions - one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odor, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation</li>\n <li>Must be able to move 55-gallon drums weighing up to 500 pounds with the aid of mechanical devices</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift and carry 5-gallon containers weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must be able to troubleshoot equipment, recognize problems, evaluate options and generate solutions</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as a team</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate (clear, concise, accurate) both orally and in writing</li>\n</ul>",
