We’re a group of dedicated veterinary professionals who support each other, celebrate wins (both big and small), and share a genuine love for animals and the people who care for them.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for a <strong>full-time Veterinary Technician</strong> who is not only skilled and detail-oriented, but also kind, empathetic, and eager to be part of a supportive, upbeat workplace.</p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide gentle, skilled patient care and nursing support</li>\n <li>Assist with exams, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical procedures</li>\n <li>Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members</li>\n <li>Help keep our clinic organized, clean, and running smoothly</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Veterinary Technician experience (credentialed preferred but not required)</li>\n <li>Strong technical skills and a desire to learn more</li>\n <li>A positive attitude and genuine love for animals and their people</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you’re ready to join a team that works hard, laughs often, and makes a difference every day, we’d love to meet you.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 1-2 Saturday's per month</li>\n <li>Previous veterinary experience required</li>\n <li>Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance</li>\n <li>Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE</li>\n <li>Basic math and the ability to calculate medication dosages</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Competencies</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Patience & Compassion:</strong> Remaining professional while still making teammates, clients, and patients feel as comfortable as possible regardless of the situation or challenges presented. Providing feedback appropriately and in a timely manner. Quickly incorporating feedback to ensure positive results. Sharing ideas and being open to other’s ideas.</li>\n <li><strong>Communicating</strong>: Conveying instructions to clients and teammates to ensure successful patient care.</li>\n <li><strong>Active Listening: </strong>Following the instructions of veterinarians and sometimes patient owners. Picking up the needs of veterinarians and teammates based on prior experiences and feedback.</li>\n <li><strong>Organization Skills</strong>: Clear tracking of lab specimens, medications, patient instructions, workflow, and other job-related items while managing multiple patients and clients.</li>\n <li><strong>Client Satisfaction: </strong>Ensuring all activities and interactions result in the highest level of client satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery and other tasks as needed.</li>\n <li>Assist veterinarians in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights, as well as providing client education.</li>\n <li>Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs of the patient during surgery.</li>\n <li>Obtain blood, stool, and other samples; perform in-hospital laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside laboratories.</li>\n <li>Take, develop, and maintain radiographs following proper safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams.</li>\n <li>Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments at the discretion of the veterinarian.</li>\n <li>Clean and straighten exam rooms, treatment, and lab areas; restock exam rooms with supplies.
