    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Under direct supervision of the physician, prepares patients, assembles and operates hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures</li><li>Comforts patients by welcoming them to the cardiology suite, answering their questions, and responding to requests.</li><li>Completes electro-cardiograms (EKGs or ECGs) by attaching electrodes to the patient&rsquo;s chest, arms, and legs</li><li>Completes treadmill stress tests by connecting patients to EKG monitors</li><li>Completes non-invasive peripheral vascular tests by collecting ultrasound echoes to form a screen image of the heart function, blood flow, and circulation.</li><li>Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following asepsis standards</li><li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.</li><li>Registers patients by entering anticipated service data into the patient record, verifying medical history.</li><li>Comforts patients by welcoming them to the cardiology suite, answering their questions, and responding to requests.</li><li>Supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments with the use of a catheter.</li><li>Assists physician in performing invasive procedures. Performs related radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position and document findings</li><li>Maintains a well- stocked and clean work environment</li><li>Works collaboratively with the Cath Lab team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care</li></ul><p>Cardiovascular Tech Qualifications and skills:</p><ul><li>Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the US.</li><li>Works well in teams</li><li>Can maintain composure during stress</li><li>Good bedside manner</li><li>Comfortable presenting technical Data</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>At least 2 years of work experience preferred.</li><li>Active cardiovascular technologist license in NJ</li><li>Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology from a University, Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in cardiovascular technology or an undergraduate certificate in cardiovascular technology.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div>\n",
