    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The configuration analyst provides support and analysis to maintain, audit and continually improve configuration management processes.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct and prepare configuration management plans and procedures</li>\n <li>Performs and maintains configuration management activities for Configuration Items manufactured, procured, repaired, altered or overhauled within the production process.</li>\n <li>Perform configuration audits, monitor trouble reports and change requests, evaluate and select tools to automate the change control process, and provides status accounting support</li>\n <li>Establish, operate, and maintain program documentation support libraries</li>\n <li>Assist in the evaluation, definition, standardization, and tracking of data elements</li>\n <li>Facilitate working groups of functional experts to establish central repository requirements for data storage, protection, and retrieval</li>\n <li>Create and populate data dictionaries</li>\n <li>Provide a full range of data mapping, validation, and documentation support</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or BA- Required</li>\n <li>Degree in a Technical Field - Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 Years Experience – Required</li>\n <li>7 Years Experience - Desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p> Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.</p>",
