    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">ICBL is Barbados’ largest general insurance provider, writing business in all areas of general insurance including, Property, Liability, Accident, Motor, Marine, Aviation and Transit Insurance. ICBL also offers insurance coverage for Group Health, Annuities and Individual and Group Pensions.<br><br>Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the permanent position of Cashier in the Finance Business Unit. This position is at the level of Grade 6 in the Company’s compensation structure and will report to the Manager – Credit &amp; Collections or her designate.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Areas of Responsibility:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receives payments and prepares relevant receipts.</li>\n<li>Prepares daily cash reports and deposits of payments.</li>\n<li>Provides information to clients and to other departments.</li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all members of staff, clients and the general public.<br></li>\n<li>Possesses excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously.<br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs other related duties as assigned and necessary for the advancement of the Insurance Corporation of Barbados Limited.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications, Experience and Skills</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Six (6) CXC General or ‘O’ Level certificates including Accounts, Mathematics and English.</li>\n<li>A minimum of one year’s experience in an accounting environment.</li>\n<li>Previous experience in an insurance environment would be an asset.<br></li>\n<li>A good knowledge of computer-assisted accounting.</li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills – MS Office etc.</li>\n<li>Computer literacy skills.</li>\n<li>Good customer relation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 11.0pt\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deadline</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">June 05, 2026</span></p>",
