Responsible for independently operating MRI equipment and performing complex imaging procedures in accordance with VA protocols.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Starting at 60/hr plus 5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MRI: Weekday & Weekend Coverage (including holidays)</strong><strong>Shift Hours</strong><strong>Day 6:30am – 5:00pm</strong><strong>Day 8:00am-6:30pm</strong><strong>Evening 12:00pm – 10:30pm</strong><strong>Night 10:15pm – 6:45am</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate MRI scanners (1.5T or 3.0T) to perform diagnostic imaging exams</li>\n <li>Screen, position, and prepare patients for MRI procedures</li>\n <li>Select appropriate imaging parameters and protocols</li>\n <li>Administer contrast media under radiologist supervision</li>\n <li>Maintain MRI safety standards and infection control practices</li>\n <li>Process and transmit images via PACS systems</li>\n <li>Document procedures in CPRS and Radiology systems</li>\n <li>Perform quality assurance and equipment check</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ARRT (R) certification and Advanced ARRT (MR) certification</li>\n <li>Minimum:\n  <ul>\n   <li>6 months MRI experience with similar equipment OR</li>\n   <li>1 year MRI experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Current BLS certification</li>\n <li>Experience with IV placement and contrast injections</li>\n <li>PACS experience (AGFA preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
