Some weekends required.</p><p><span><strong>JOB SUMMARY&nbsp;</strong>(overview of job): Provides evaluation and treatment of patients referred by an MD for Occupational Therapy services. &nbsp;Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.&nbsp; Develops a plan of care for patients after evaluation. Documents all care provided and ensures that charges are entered accurately and timely per department policy. &nbsp;Participates in planning for budget needs, works as a team member of the OT and Rehab teams. &nbsp;Participates in department &nbsp;and organization improvement projects, equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE</strong>: Has demonstrated ability to deliver competent, appropriate care and coordination of a care plan that is approved by attending physicians.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>EDUCATION</strong>: Graduate of accredited school for Occupational Therapy.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY</strong>: Licensed in the state of Montana as an Occupational Therapist.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>Aptitudes</strong>:&nbsp;Mental acuity/intelligence -ability to recognize changes in client's physical and mental capacity. Mechanical ability to&nbsp;demonstrate and provide education on the use of&nbsp; ADL equipment. Organization-ability to allocate appropriate time and resources efficiently to meet client needs. &nbsp;Communicate-must be able to demonstrate appropriate communication to interdisciplinary team members, clients and physicians daily. &nbsp;Emotional development to enable appropriate professional interactions with peers, and supervisor. &nbsp;Interacts professionally with clients/families in crisis who may be stressed or dealing with major changes in physical function or cognition.</span></p><p><span>7012.23</span></p>",
