Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic advertising sales team in the fast-paced media and technology industry. In this role, you will sell print, digital, and multimedia advertising solutions to new and existing clients through phone, email, and digital outreach. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with a consultative sales approach and a passion for helping local and regional businesses grow through effective media exposure and marketing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, and inbound leads Consult with clients to understand business objectives and recommend customized advertising and marketing solutions Build and maintain long-term relationships with small- and mid-sized business clients Prepare and present sales proposals, rate quotes, and campaign recommendations Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and revenue targets Coordinate with internal production teams to ensure advertising materials are submitted accurately and on time Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activity in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or internal platforms) Upsell existing accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities across media products Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market conditions Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Comfortable making outbound calls and cold-calling prospective advertisers Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software Experience selling digital marketing, online advertising, or technology solutions preferred Knowledge of digital advertising campaign management preferred Familiarity with audience targeting, analytics, and performance metrics such as CPM, impressions, and click-through rates (CTR) preferred Required Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, media sales, or advertising sales Work Conditions & Physical Requirements: Work may be performed in an office environment, hybrid setting, or 100% remote (depending on location and company needs). Regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment Ability to sit for extended periods while performing sales and customer service activities Frequent verbal communication with customers, advertisers, and internal staff Ability to work standard business hours; occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on sales campaigns or deadlines Flexible days; Normal daytime hours 40 Hours
