Adjunct faculty reports to a dean or chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><strong>Department Specific Essential Job Functions:</strong></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">Teach classes at ACM@UCO for undergraduate students learning the skills necessary to excel in one or more of the contemporary music tracks, including:</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><u>Contemporary Music Performance&nbsp;</u>- instrument and vocal performance, contemporary music culture and style, music theory, contemporary music aural skills, contemporary music state presence, and other contemporary music performance courses as needed.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><u>Contemporary Music Production</u>&nbsp;-&nbsp;studio engineering,&nbsp;live sound, post-production, film scoring/audio visual, music production and system installation, and other contemporary music production courses as needed.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><u>Contemporary Music Business</u>&nbsp;- artist/label/tour management, music marketing and design, financial management, leadership, entrepreneurship, music contracts and intellectual property management, and other contemporary music business courses as needed.&nbsp;</span></span>&nbsp;</p>\r\n</div>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><strong>Experience Required:</strong></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<div>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">Possesses at least a master&#39;s degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval).
