This position focuses on translating project specifications, operational sequences, and engineering standards into detailed control drawings and technical documentation that support installation, programming, startup, and ongoing system performance.</p><p>📍 <strong>Location: </strong>Lawrenceville, GA<br>💰 <strong>Salary Range: </strong>$90K - $115K DOE<br>🕒<strong> Schedule: </strong>Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40–50 hours/week)</p><p><strong>Benefits Include:</strong><br>Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), Short & Long-Term Disability, Performance Incentives, and additional company perks.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Design & Development</p><p>Design and engineer HVAC/BAS control systems for commercial and industrial projects</p><p>Prepare detailed control schematics, wiring diagrams, network layouts, and panel drawings using Microsoft Visio</p><p>Review and interpret mechanical, electrical, and construction documents to coordinate control system designs</p><p>Develop and validate Sequences of Operation to ensure functionality and project compliance</p><p>Specify and select controllers, sensors, actuators, dampers, valves, relays, transformers, and related control components</p><p>Documentation & Project Support</p><p><strong>Assemble comprehensive controls submittal packages including:</strong><br>• Control drawings<br>• Point lists<br>• Device schedules<br>• Network topology diagrams<br>• Panel layouts</p><p>Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and version tracking throughout project lifecycle</p><p>Update design documentation based on QA reviews, customer feedback, and field modifications</p><p>Technical Coordination</p><p>Collaborate closely with project managers, programmers, commissioning teams, and field technicians</p><p>Provide technical clarification and support regarding control system design and installation requirements</p><p>Assist with RFIs, design reviews, and project kickoff meetings</p><p>Support commissioning and startup activities when required</p><p>Quality & Standards</p><p>Ensure all designs comply with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable codes</p><p>Incorporate proper interlocks, fail-safe sequences, and operational logic into designs</p><p>Contribute to process improvements, design standards, and engineering templates</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred — equivalent industry experience considered</p><p>2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, BAS, or automation system design</p><p>Proficient with Microsoft Visio and technical drafting/documentation</p><p>Strong understanding of:<br>• HVAC equipment and control strategies<br>• BAS communication protocols including BACnet/IP and MS/TP<br>• Low-voltage controls and wiring practices<br>• Sensors, actuators, relays, and field devices</p><p>Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings</p><p>Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills</p><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><p>Exposure to Niagara, Distech, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Tridium, or related BAS platforms</p><p>Knowledge of commissioning procedures and functional testing</p><p>Experience supporting projects during construction and startup phases</p><p>Familiarity with panel fabrication and controls integration</p><p>Work Environment:</p><p>Primarily office-based with occasional field/site visits for coordination and project support</p><p>Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously</p><p>Some travel may be required depending on project needs</p>INDH",
