This role is for someone who lives and breathes cloud efficiency—who’s as comfortable diving into EC2 right-sizing reports as they are tuning Spark jobs, advising Kubernetes cost models, and shaping long-term AWS financial strategy.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This is a </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">senior-level, high-ownership role</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> embedded in the Platform team, working across Engineering, Data, and Finance. You’ll be responsible for uncovering waste, optimizing cloud spend, and building the tooling, automation, and reporting systems that make FinOps a core discipline—not an afterthought.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Our environment is deeply technical and performance-intensive, with significant cost centers in Spark compute, Kubernetes workloads, Snowflake usage, and Java-based microservices. You’ll play a critical role in making our systems not just reliable—but cost-effective at scale.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Lead cost optimization</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> efforts across our AWS estate (EC2, EKS, S3, EBS, Lambda, RDS, etc.), delivering measurable savings and performance wins.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Analyze and optimize </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Apache Spark jobs</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> (EMR/EKS) — improve executor tuning, autoscaling, and job scheduling for efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Partner with Data Engineering to optimize </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Airflow DAGs</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, reduce pipeline waste, and manage resource-intensive workflows.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reduce Kubernetes costs through </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">node pool optimization</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">vcluster strategy</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, pod rightsizing, and non-prod automation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Implement and manage </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Savings Plans</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Reserved Instances</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, and workload scheduling to maximize discount coverage.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Audit and improve </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Snowflake</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> usage patterns — warehouse sizing, query optimization, idle resource management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with Finance to build accurate </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">cloud cost allocation models</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, showback dashboards, and budget forecasting tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drive tagging enforcement, anomaly detection, and policy automation using tools like </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">AWS CUR</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Athena</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">QuickSight</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, or </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">3rd-party FinOps platforms</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Advocate for and implement </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">cost-conscious design patterns</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> in collaboration with DevOps, SRE, and software engineers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Establish </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">FinOps KPIs</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> (e.g., cost per Spark job, cost per API call, efficiency scores) and drive continuous improvement.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform roles, with a strong focus on </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">cloud cost management</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deep experience in </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">AWS</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> with strong knowledge of pricing, service usage, billing structures, and enterprise discount programs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Technical Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong hands-on expertise with </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;
