In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>University Radiology is looking for a per diem MRI Tech Assistant to work in our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Rotating Saturdays 7:30am-1:00pm or 7:30am-3:30pm (Evening coverage when needed 5:00pm-8:30pm)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist MRI and CT Techs with patient flow</li>\n <li>Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exam</li>\n <li>Patient film and report coordination</li>\n <li>Stock supplies</li>\n <li>On-Site MRI Safety Training</li>\n <li>Aware of MR Safety screening questions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Medical office experience a plus, but not required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology a plus, but not required</li>\n <li>Enrollment in a formal Radiologic Tech or MRI Tech program is a real plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range:</h2>\n<p>From $21/hr</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Join our growing team!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>University Radiology  is an Equal Opportunity Employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>",
