Click Here to See All Ryder Careers: https://jobs.ryder.com/jobs/</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We want YOU to join our family made up of Proud Women and Men in Supply Chain who work alongside the many Military Reserve and Veterans we hire everyday</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting</li>\n <li>Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder</li>\n <li>Good organizational, communication, and planning skills</li>\n <li>Vocational or Technical Certification preferred</li>\n <li>Experience operating forklift equipment required</li>\n <li>Equipment certification may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner</li>\n <li>Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable</li>\n <li>Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems</li>\n <li>Performs routine forklift repairs</li>\n <li>Maintains batteries and related equipment</li>\n <li>Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs</li>\n <li>If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em></em><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
