    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p><u>LABOR CATEGORY</u>: Financial Analyst- Senior</p><p><u>SEHLKE POSITION TITLE</u>: SME III</p><p><u>LOCATION</u>: Arlington, VA&nbsp;</p><p><u>JOB DESCRIPTION</u>: The Senior Financial Analyst position will provide Financial Management Services to Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). &nbsp;Services will include outlining processes, drafting policies, providing audit, advisory and assistance services, business process improvement and assisting in financial reporting to support responsibilities associated with providing training and instructing personnel on accounting systems and interface utilization; construction of appropriation data; and procedures necessary to ensure accurate and timely financial information for decision making and funds control to meet and achieve audit readiness.:</p><p>Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of SABRS/SMARTS reports and tools to analyze past financial transactions and uncover anomalies that occur during the transition to Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) which will serve as the official accounting system for the Marine Corps. &nbsp;Knowledge of DAI is a plus.</li><li>Responsible for timely submission / certification of Dormant Accounts Review &ndash; Quarterly (DAR-Q) records and assisting using unit testers with proper validation.</li><li>Knowledge of SPARTA/ARC Tool and audit KSDs to prepare and submit completed audit packages within established timeframes.</li><li>Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) within the Manager&rsquo;s Internal Control Program (MICP) after evaluation of audit submissions as well as other business process area and risk assessments.</li><li>Determine trends and process improvements through analysis of Key Supply and Financial Performance indicators.</li><li>Provide training to using units on accounting and logistics systems and interface utilization, as well as procedures necessary to ensure accurate and timely financial information for decision making and funds control to meet and achieve audit readiness.</li><li>Work as part of a team which is comprised of Active-Duty, Civil Service, and contractors to offer the client customized solutions.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS</u>: Secret or ability to achieve</p><p><u>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</u>:&nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred not required</p><p><u>CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</u>: CDFM / CGFM / DoD FM preferred not required</p><p><u>EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</u> Approximately 7-10 years of experience at a using unit in logistics and financial management. General working knowledge of the following systems and associated reports: GCSS-MC, SYNCADA, DTS, G-Invoicing, PIEE/WAWF, MICRR, TLCM-OST, WebVLips, CEDMS, LDG, STORES, EEBP, and DMLSS.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</u>:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Travel required at least two weeks per year.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate orally and written.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>To be eligible for employment, you must be fully vaccinated, except in limited circumstances where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation, by January 4<sup id=\"isPasted\">th</sup>, 2022 or your start date, whichever is second in time.
