We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This position is a senior leadership role involving project, client, staff, and business development responsibilities, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directing, managing, and implementing challenging technical projects involving site investigation and remediation, brownfield redevelopments, and due diligence;</li>\n <li>Cultivating relationships with new and existing clients, resulting in the expansion of the Firm’s current practices and capabilities through new business opportunities;</li>\n <li>Maintaining high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact, participation in client-based professional organizations, and attendance and presentations at industry events; and</li>\n <li>Supervising and mentoring early career professionals.</li>\n <li>Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including technical conferences, in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.</li>\n <li>Fieldwork: Up to 20%</li>\n <li>Overnight travel: Up to 30%</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) or geology. (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in engineering or science. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (i.e., P.E. or P.G.). (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 8 years (10+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience in the Florida marketplace; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Deep experience implementing assessment and remediation projects and programs under Chapter 62-780 FAC. (required)</li>\n <li>Assessment/remediation experience with emerging contaminants and innovative technologies. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience with environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance projects. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience in effective management of projects, including responsibility for resource allocation, quality, technical oversight, and financial management. (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing clients. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience mentoring and managing professional staff. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple project assignments, meet deadlines, and travel to client facilities as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. </li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
