Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide physical therapy treatments to residents according to evaluations and treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist</li>\n <li>Exercise sound judgment and provide effective and efficient care in the performance of duties</li>\n <li>Observe, record, and report change in conditions, reactions and responses to the resident Physical Therapist as assigned </li>\n <li>Track the need for reassessment and reports changes in status that may indicate the need for reassessment or referral</li>\n <li>Maintain daily records of treatments and documents progress notes on residents as directed by the therapist</li>\n <li>Discontinue immediately any treatment procedure that appears harmful to the resident/patient and notifies the licensed physical therapist and other appropriate staff</li>\n <li>Ensure appropriate review of care rendered is performed by the licensed Physical Therapist according to practice regulations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program </li>\n <li>Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the State of Maryland</li>\n <li>Training or experience in long-term or sub-acute setting </li>\n <li>Prefer active membership in the state and national American Physical Therapy Association </li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow the directions of the Physical Therapist and the policies and procedures of the facility</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer </strong></p>\n<p>FutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
