The candidate will be responsible for designing, <br>deploying, and supporting highly available OpenShift environments for enterprise-grade <br>workloads, including SAS applications. <br>The role requires deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, storage integrations, <br>cluster operations, and the ability to guide customers through infrastructure <br>preparation and production deployments. <br><br><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities </span></em><br> Design and deploy highly available OpenShift clusters <br>Manage cluster lifecycle (installation, upgrades, troubleshooting) <br>Implement storage solutions using CSI drivers and external storage systems <br> Build and manage mirror registries <br> Develop robust Dockerfiles for enterprise workloads <br> Create modular Helm charts and Kustomize overlays <br> Ensure infrastructure redundancy at network, storage, and compute layers <br> Guide customers in preparing infrastructure to meet SAS application <br>prerequisites <br> Install and validate new enterprise platforms (Cloudera, ETL suites, analytics <br>platforms) <br> Act as liaison between customers, support teams, and internal developers <br> Perform root cause analysis for production incidents <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Required Skills &amp; Experience </em></span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Linux &amp; Infrastructure </em></span><br> Advanced Linux CLI expertise <br> Filesystem and LVM administration <br> NFS, iSCSI, block storage management <br> Network bonding and HA configurations <br> Experience designing redundancy at every layer <br>OpenShift (Mandatory &amp; Core Skill) <br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em> Strong hands-on experience with: </em></span><br>o Red Hat OpenShift <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em> Deep understanding of: </em></span><br>o Operators <br>o SCCs <br>o Routes &amp; Ingress <br>o MachineSets &amp; cluster scaling <br>o Internal and mirrored registries <br>o CSI storage integrations <br> Experience with disconnected or air-gapped installations <br><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Kubernetes &amp; Containerization </span></em><br> Strong Kubernetes architecture knowledge <br> Helm chart modularization <br> Kustomize overlays <br> Secure Docker image building <br> Registry mirroring and image management <br><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cloud &amp; Platform Experience </span></em><br> Experience with at least two of: <br>o Amazon EKS <br>o Google Kubernetes Engine <br>o Azure Kubernetes Service <br>o Red Hat OpenShift <br>Scripting &amp; Automation <br>Strong Bash and awk scripting <br> Automation-first mindset <br> CI/CD pipeline experience <br><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice to Have </span></em><br> Experience with SAS platform deployments (strong advantage) <br> Experience with Cloudera or enterprise data platforms <br> Experience handling large-scale analytics workloads <br> Infrastructure sizing and performance optimization for data-intensive <br>applications <br><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Soft Skills </span></em><br> Strong leadership in technical discussions <br>Ability to guide customers in infrastructure readiness <br> Clear documentation and architectural explanation skills <br> Ownership mentality for production platforms <br> Quick learner with ability to evaluate and deploy new enterprise software stacks</p>",
