This position plays a critical role in supporting our Underwriters and maintaining the high standard of service our clients expect. The ideal candidate will bring a positive, professional attitude to daily interactions with Underwriters, clients, and fellow team members. A successful candidate must be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and can operate effectively with minimal supervision.</h3><p></p><h1><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><b><u>Principal Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></b></span></h1><ul><li><h3>Provide daily support to our national underwriting teams.</h3></li><li><h3>Issue, code, calculate premiums, and invoice bonds with accuracy and timeliness.</h3></li><li><h3>Bill additional and return premiums to ensure proper file closure.</h3></li><li><h3>Assist with underwriting (electronic) file maintenance and underwriting audit support needs.</h3></li><li><h3>Obtain and organize credit reports, corporate state filings, and contractor license information for new submissions.</h3></li><li><h3>Research and help resolve billing and account current discrepancies.</h3></li><li><h3>Send letters and forms on behalf of Underwriters, maintaining professional correspondence.</h3></li><li><h3>Prioritize and manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</h3></li><li><h3>Provide backup support to team members across multiple locations as needed.</h3></li><li><h3>Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.</h3></li></ul><p></p><h1><span class=\"emphasis-3\"><b><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></b></span></h1><ul><li><h3>Typically requires a high school diploma.
