Description

Description A Performance Tools Technician is a professional responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and operation of tools and equipment used to measure and improve the performance of various systems. Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair various types of performance tools and equipment. Calibration and Testing: Perform routine calibrations and tests to ensure tools are functioning accurately. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and performance issues. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and maintenance activities. Regular Servicing: Schedule and execute regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal tool performance. Customer Service: Provide support and respond to inquiries from internal or external customers regarding tool performance. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when handling tools and equipment. Parts Management: Order and replace parts as necessary to keep tools in working order. Qualifications Technical degree or certification in a related field. Experience with performance tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skills: Proficiency in using and maintaining performance measurement tools. Knowledge of calibration standards and procedures. Technical troubleshooting and repair skills. Familiarity with inventory and parts management systems.
