Why is this Role/Position Important?
Education is at an inflection point. Artificial intelligence, automation, and rapid cultural shifts are dismantling the assumptions that have driven school design for decades. The schools that will flourish, and the students who will thrive, are those who learn by doing, by reflecting, by taking risks, and by connecting learning to the real world. Experiential education is no longer a nice-to-have. It is the answer.
JUMP! has spent 20+ years proving this on the ground. The Experiential Education Framework (EEF) is the vehicle through which JUMP! takes everything it knows about transformational learning, program design, safety, curriculum integration, and youth development, and puts it directly into the hands of schools.
The Director of the Experiential Education Framework exists to make the EEF irresistible.
Not merely compelling. Not well-designed. Irresistible. In the sense that a Head of School who encounters EEF feels two things simultaneously: the urgency of being behind if they don't have it, and the aspiration of what their school could become if they do.
This is not a program management role. It is not a curriculum writing role. It is not a sales role. It is all three, and it sits at the intersection of educational vision, strategic product thinking, and commercial execution. The Director of the Experiential Education Framework is the person who makes the EEF the gold standard in international school enhancement: the framework every forward-thinking school points to when they say, "this is how we prepare students for a world we cannot yet imagine."
The core challenge this role solves : As the Director of Experiential Education Framework, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of the JUMP! Experiential Education (EE) Framework, a comprehensive set of resources, tools, and templates designed to establish and facilitate an intentional and sequential experiential learning program. This role demands a visionary leader who can oversee the creation, enhancement, and management of the EE Framework while ensuring that JUMP!'s programs are safe, effective, and aligned with international best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
EEF Design, Evolution & Productization
Continuously develop and refine all 8 units of the EEF (Visioning & Design, Curriculum Mapping, SOPs, Risk Management, Teacher & Student Training, Trip Management, Impact Monitoring, and Continuous Learning) ensuring each unit reflects the latest research, field experience, and school feedback.
Ensure the EEF adapts seamlessly across school contexts ( IB, IGCSE, national curricula) without losing coherence, quality, or the JUMP! identity.
Build a comprehensive EEF resource library: tools, templates, and self-use guides that schools can deploy independently between consulting engagements, deepening stickiness and perceived value.
Incorporate emerging research in AI-integrated learning, cognitive science, and youth development into the EEF on an ongoing basis. Ensuring it remains at the frontier of educational practice and ahead of where schools need to go.
Identify emerging trends in experiential education and the broader educational landscape, proactively adapting the EEF to maintain its position as the most relevant and forward-thinking framework available to international schools.
Safety, SOPs & Risk Management
Oversee the development, review, and continuous enhancement of world-class SOPs across all EEF-supported programs, ensuring they are aligned with both the EEF and international best practices.
Develop Risk Management Plans so robust that partner schools adopt them across their entire experiential offering. Establishing JUMP! as the safety standard-setter in the sector.
Lead AEE Accreditation: Drive the full accreditation process, ensuring all SOPs, risk frameworks, and program quality standards meet or exceed AEE requirements, securing accreditation as a public and credible mark of program excellence.
Implement ongoing feedback and evaluation loops to continuously enhance program safety, effectiveness, and operational quality across all EEF engagements.
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Generation
Develop and Execute the EEF Revenue Framework: Implement a scalable revenue model focused on multi-year school partnerships, prioritising long-term consulting agreements that ensure year-on-year program continuity and drive sustainable growth.
Achieve 80%+ Retention Rates: Build and maintain deep relationships with partner schools to secure multi-year renewals and expand engagement scope. Cultivate Strategic Champions within each school to act as internal advocates for the EEF.
Expand Market Reach: Drive the expansion of the EEF across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and beyond through intentional outreach and strategic partnership development, focusing on high-growth regions that align with JUMP!'s mission.
Strategic Pricing and Contract Management: Design and execute a pricing architecture that reflects the genuine transformation schools experience, maximises program value, and remains competitive within international school consulting markets.
Identify and develop new revenue streams within the EEF ecosystem : training certifications, digital tools, network events, and white-label consulting partnerships — generating $1M+ in Year 1 and scaling to $2.5M by Year 3.
Network Development & Strategic Partnerships
Build the JUMP! EE Network into a Thriving Community of Practice: Develop and maintain the JUMP! EE Network as a self-sustaining professional community of 50+ schools, generating referrals, deepening retention, and elevating sector-wide standards.
Launch and Manage a Strategic Champions Network: Establish a network of influential school leaders and EEF advocates who drive referrals, co-branded growth, and regional market penetration, targeting 25%+ of new EEF partnerships generated through network recommendations.
Forge Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with AEE, leading universities, and international school associations to enhance JUMP!'s credibility, open referral channels, and co-develop resources that strengthen the EEF.
Leverage School and Alumni Networks: Activate school referral networks and alumni communities to scale new EEF partnerships and expand program reach organically across priority markets.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting
Leverage Pipedrive and CRM analytics to provide real-time insights into EEF partnership performance, school engagement, and revenue forecasting, ensuring data is actionable and drives strategic decision-making.
Monitor engagement metrics across all EEF partnerships, including renewal rates, new inquiries, proposal conversion, and school satisfaction scores, to maintain high levels of quality and continuity.
Track progress against scorecards and key EEF metrics. Use insights to iterate on framework delivery, refine school engagement strategies, and report transparently to the Executive Director.
High-Performance Team Leadership & Development
Build and Lead a High-Impact EEF Consulting Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Program Directors, Curriculum Specialists, and Risk Management Consultants capable of delivering world-class EEF consulting engagements.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are consistently followed across all EEF engagements to guarantee innovation, quality, and program integrity.
Design and lead training programs for EEF consultants and facilitators, focusing on framework delivery, school consulting excellence, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning
P osition the EEF as the Global Leader in Experiential Education: Represent JUMP! at international conferences, school leadership summits, and global education forums. Building JUMP!'s reputation as the definitive thought leader in transformational, systems-level experiential learning.
Content Development and Storytelling: Craft compelling case studies, impact narratives, and sector publications that demonstrate the EEF's transformational outcomes, reinforcing JUMP!'s leadership in international school consulting.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in recreation, outdoor education, experiential education or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in a senior leadership role within experiential education or a related field
Proven experience in designing and implementing experiential education programs that are rooted in intentional learning outcomes
Proven track record of building strategic partnerships and driving business development across international school networks
Strong understanding of risk management and safety protocols in outdoor and experiential education settings
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships and contribute to long-term organizational growth
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to successful completion
