They develop strategic purchasing plans, mitigate supply risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves heavy cross-functional collaboration and data analysis to meet financial and operational targets, service level requirements, and inventory objectives.</p><p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Vendor and Sourcing management<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers</li><li>Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery</li><li>Review and analyze purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders for approval process</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on late orders</li><li>Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors&nbsp;</li><li>Develop, Implement and Support sourcing and supplier management initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Negotiate pricing, delivery, lead-time, etc., with suppliers and partner</li></ul></li><li>Demand Planning and Inventory<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Utilize Demand Planning tools to monitor inventory levels across businesses to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained</li><li>Develop wholesale forecasts, working with Brands Sales management to ensure we maintain service levels in our distribution sites</li></ul></li><li>Cross-Functional and Financial Coordination<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Coordinate with Receiving, Accounting and other departments as needed to resolve discrepancies with product receiving/pricing</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and engage with finance for proper accounting forecasts&nbsp;</li><li>Determine material requirements from Product Development and production launch schedules to coordinate the efficient movement of materials through production launch and purchase requirements activity post launch&nbsp;</li><li>Identify items for deletion, prices changes, competitive analysis</li></ul></li><li>ERP and Data Management<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Obtaining/maintaining accurate item data in NetSuite ERP system</li><li>Maintaining vendor database to keep all information current</li><li>Managing/tracking price changes, discounts, and special promotions.
