    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manager - External Audit (Financial Services)</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job description</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an External Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting senior colleagues, organising &amp; reviewing work, overseeing and providing training/guidance to a team of Senior Associates &amp; Associates and being a key client contact.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As an External Audit Manager some of your responsibilities will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working strategically with the leadership team</li>\n<li>Taking responsibility for staff planning, reviewing work and overseeing the team</li>\n<li>Taking the lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients</li>\n<li>Supporting the Audit Partner in the running of the team</li>\n<li>Negotiating client fees per engagement as appropriate</li>\n<li>Involved in the interview process for new hires joining the team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">These are the key skills which we're hoping you can tick:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of External Audit Manager experience in a top international firm in the UAE</li>\n<li>6+ years of External Audit experience in a top international firm (preferably in the UAE)</li>\n<li>Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA)</li>\n<li>Strong experience auditing Financial Services institutions, particularly Asset Managers and Brokerage Firms</li>\n<li>Confident in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements</li>\n<li>Experience working on complex audits and delegating workloads accordingly</li>\n<li>Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packages</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English</li>\n<li>Strong communication, leadership, analytical skills required</li>\n<li>Willingness to work additional hours as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate must already be based here in the UAE and should be currently working as a Manager in an Auditing Firm.</p>",
