Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<p>Position is open until filled</p>\n<p><strong>Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers Team Members:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Now hiring candidates 18 or older for all positions, including gaming licensed positions (Must be 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender)</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health Benefits Insurance package effective Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability for FT team members</li>\n <li>$700 Referral Bonus Program ($350 at 90 days $350 at 6 months) – for Team Members who refer new applicants</li>\n <li>Discounted Casino bus tickets  </li>\n <li>Discounted RTD EcoPass</li>\n <li>Hot meal served by the Leadership Team once a month</li>\n <li>20% discount for Starbucks, Ara Spa, and all food outlets </li>\n <li>100% Colorado Gaming License reimbursement after 90 days of employment </li>\n <li>Hotel discounts available at all 43 PENN properties, plus discounts on goods and services</li>\n <li>Education reimbursement program and Annual Scholarship Program </li>\n <li>Career development opportunities </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Responsibilities include: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for front desk operations overnight, including Front Desk & PBX agents, and Bell staff in the performance of their duties.</li>\n <li>Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, high Team Member morale, motivation, and open communication.</li>\n <li>Coaches and develops Team Members using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectations.</li>\n <li>Provides direction and support for all staff members to achieve department goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensures all Front Desk Team Members receive proper training with emphasis on detail, to provide service levels consistent with Ameristar’s standards.</li>\n <li>Helps to maintain and enhance a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests and Team Members.</li>\n <li>Supervises the overnight shift of the Front Desk and telecommunication via customer contact and supervision of Team Members, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Oversees customer check-in/check-out.</li>\n <li>Conducts all cash handling in accordance with cash handling policy and monitors variances on a daily basis.</li>\n <li>Monitors telephone communication via call monitoring system.</li>\n <li>Authorized to verify pre-approved room comping levels and authorized to change incorrect information.</li>\n <li>Processes discrepancy reports, rate variations and credit reports.</li>\n <li>Works with Housekeeping and Casino Marketing to ensure timely guest check-in and maximum occupancy.</li>\n <li>Coordinated VIP arrivals and ensured all arrangements were confirmed prior to arrival.</li>\n <li>Ensure all eligible card holders are pre-registered, and room checked prior to arrival.</li>\n <li>Monitors volume to ensure fast, friendly, and efficient service.</li>\n <li>Ensures that guest problems/complaints are managed in an effective, courteous manner.</li>\n <li>Performs the night audit for date roll. </li>\n <li>Ensures that all Front Desk staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of hotel, community, and special events to accurately provide guests with needed information.</li>\n <li>Performs duties of Front Desk Agents and other Front Desk and Services Team Members as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Officer, EXCEL, and LMS preferred.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.</li>\n <li>Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate written and verbal information effectively.</li>\n <li>Ability to provide excellent customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overnight weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.</li>\n <li>2 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a supervisory capacity required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of casino/hotel industry preferred.</li>\n <li>Bi-lingual abilities are preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
