    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Conduct Quality Assurance audits and routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials, work in process and finished product. Assure company and product standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. &nbsp;Consult with Quality Manager to resolve quality, production and efficiency problems. &nbsp;Function as an information source to various company departments when special and critical quality issues occur. Coordinate the flow of jobs through the Inspection Department to insure that we meet the scheduled customer ship date, &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Determines overall product quality by conducting and evaluating various visual and product tests for obvious defects.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Routinely completes and interprets inspection paperwork and blueprints including GD&amp;T.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Inspects incoming jobs from sub-contractors for quality and product integrity.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs in-process, first piece inspection and first article using various measuring equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Notifies Quality Manager when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are detected.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures that all measuring equipment is calibrated within acceptable tolerances and time frame.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assists in development of special department projects and work in conjunction with QA Manager.</p><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>May cover for quality assurance personnel.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>When requested, may work on special projects and various related assignments.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs other related to work duties and assignments as required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>May perform First Article Inspection from new or modified tooling.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment may range from low, moderate to loud.</p><p><strong>Education, Skills and Experience:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Associates degree or equivalent in education and experience.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Minimum two years experience in quality control.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with operating or programming a Sheffield or Zeiss CMM preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong attention to detail</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong math skills</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Good oral and written communication skills.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong organization skills.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be familiar with computers and computer software.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work independently with minimal supervision</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>\n",
