We are committed to fostering growth, healing, and happiness for each child while offering unparalleled support to our team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Role; as a Nurse Technician, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist nurses in delivering high-quality care to our pediatric residents.</li>\n <li>Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.</li>\n <li>Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and families.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A caring, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in healthcare (CNA certification preferred but not required).</li>\n <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li>\n <li>A desire to work in a pediatric care setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive Pay</strong>: Reflective of your skills and experience.</li>\n <li><strong>Comprehensive Benefits</strong>: Including health, dental, and vision insurance.</li>\n <li><strong>Training & Development</strong>: Ongoing education and career advancement pathways.</li>\n <li><strong>Supportive Environment</strong>: A team that values your contributions and celebrates success together.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Join us at Pediatric Specialty Care, where your work has the power to change lives every day. </strong></em></p>\n<p><em><strong>Together, we create brighter tomorrows for children in need.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Nurse Technician (CNA):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services including, but not limited to, keeping individuals dry i.e.,changing bed/crib linens, assisting individuals with bowel and bladder functions, assisting with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting individuals into and out of beds, chairs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc., assisting individuals to walk with or without self-help devices.</li>\n <li>Documents all provided services (i.e., ADL care, meals and activity participation) in the individual’s medical record.</li>\n <li>Checks each individual routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are met.</li>\n <li>Prepares individuals for meals and assists with the serving and feeding of meals as indicated in individual’s care plan.</li>\n <li>Completes clinical duties including preforming range of motion, emptying ostomy bags, and obtaining vital signs following training and competency assessment.</li>\n <li>Performs routine housekeeping duties (i.e., cleaning equipment, toys, spills, etc.) before leaving work area for breaks or at the end of the workday; stores all tools, equipment and supplies properly.</li>\n <li>Reports all changes in the individual’s condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.</li>\n <li>Responsible for performing all assigned tasks in accordance with the established policies and procedures under the direction of a supervisor.</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrates the ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.</li>\n <li>Shows respect for personal possessions of individuals and helping maintain an orderly and pleasant environment on the nursing unit for staff and individuals.</li>\n <li>Observes and practices confidentiality of individuals’ information and privacy when performing job duties.</li>\n <li>Based on each individual’s ability, provides activities that enhance self-esteem, maintain, or improve physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.</li>\n <li>Assists with loading/unloading individuals from vehicles as necessary.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for the safe transport of children to appointments in a PSC owned vehicle.</li>\n <li>Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-departmental staff within the center to assure that services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the individuals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Nurse Technician (CNA) </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED </li>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age </li>\n <li>Possesses and maintains current, valid CPR/First Aid certification </li>\n <li>Current, valid driver license </li>\n <li>Proficiency with computer programs and applications preferred </li>\n <li>Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant Certification preferred</li>\n <li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
