In addition, we offer highly competitive compensation and great benefits</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\">This is a <b><u>Per Diem</u></b> role,&nbsp;supporting coverage in the East LA and Southeast regions.</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Evaluate patients&rsquo; intraoral &amp; peri-oral hard and soft tissue condition; including caries, endodontic/periodontal pathology, soft tissue and developmental pathology.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Diagnose and treat Emergency Dental situations such as toothaches, broken teeth/restorations, dislodged crown/bridges, broken off denture teeth etc.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Develop patient treatment plan; including Preventative, endodontic, Periodontal, Restorative, Prosthetic and follow up care.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Refer out complex Endodontic, Surgical and Periodontal treatment. Perform and complete the remaining portion of treatment plan.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Typically, all or nearly all of the treatment plan should be done &quot;in house&quot;.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>The specific procedures which the applicant is expected to be proficient in and expected to perform are: amalgam and composite restorations, single and double canal Endodontic therapy, extraction of erupted teeth and roots either routinely or simple surgical procedures. prophylaxis, periodontal scaling &amp; root planing.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>A significant portion of the applicant&rsquo;s responsibility will be Pediatric Dentistry without Nitrous Oxide. This will include Preventative, Restorative and Surgical care on cooperative children.
