You care deeply about&#160;<strong>user experience, performance, and accessibility</strong>, and you&#8217;re comfortable owning critical user-facing flows end to end.</p><p>You enjoy collaborating closely with Product and Design, making pragmatic technical decisions, and contributing to frontend architecture while maintaining a high bar for quality and maintainability.</p><p><br><strong>What You&#8217;ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop user-facing mobile experiences using React Native, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and polish.</li><li>Own and evolve core onboarding and acquisition flows, from initial entry points through account creation and activation.</li><li>Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to translate requirements and UX designs into high-quality frontend implementations.</li><li>Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, manage client-side state, and handle data fetching and error states.</li><li>Drive cross-platform consistency across iOS and Android, and collaborate with Web teams when needed.</li><li>Lead frontend architecture decisions, including component design, state management, navigation, and testing strategies.</li><li>Mentor and support other engineers growing their frontend or React Native skill sets.</li><li>Promote a written-first engineering culture through documentation, design docs, tech specs, and post-mortems.</li><li>Continuously improve frontend quality through performance optimization, code reviews, and refactoring.</li><li>Stay current with the React, React Native, and frontend ecosystem, bringing best practices back to the team.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on&#160;<strong>frontend or mobile UI development</strong>.</li><li>Significant experience building production applications with<strong>&#160;React Native</strong>.</li><li>Strong proficiency in&#160;<strong>JavaScript/TypeScript</strong>,&#160;<strong>React</strong>, and modern frontend patterns.</li><li>Solid experience with frontend architecture concerns, including state management, component systems, navigation, and data fetching.</li><li>Deep understanding of&#160;<strong>mobile UX, accessibility, and performance</strong>&#160;considerations.</li><li>Experience with frontend/mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or similar).</li><li>Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.</li><li>Strong emphasis on writing maintainable, well-tested, and scalable frontend code.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend or mobile applications.</li><li>A pragmatic, user-focused approach to delivering features safely and incrementally.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.</li><li>English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with native mobile development (Android or iOS).</li><li>Experience building or contributing to design systems or shared component libraries.</li><li>Web frontend experience using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.</li><li>Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or analytics instrumentation.</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and error tracking tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog, Kibana).</li><li>Some backend experience (e.g., Kotlin or Python) to support end-to-end collaboration.</li></ul>",
