Dedicated to excellence, North Star is accredited by The Joint Commission.</p>\n<h3><strong>Details</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Position: </strong>Inpatient Moonlighting - Adult Psychiatrist.</li>\n <li><strong>Setting:</strong> Inpatient care, freestanding behavioral hospital.  </li>\n <li><strong>Needs:</strong> 1099 physicians to provide weekend rounding (onsite preferred) and evening call coverage for adult units.   </li>\n <li><strong>Team culture:</strong> A collegial, supportive, and caring environment that offers great work/life balance.</li>\n <li><strong>Coverage: </strong>Onsite coverage is highly preferred. Remote or hybrid arrangements considered. </li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>1099 Independent Contractor preferred.</li>\n <li>Hourly or shift rates are available.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Required Education, Training, and Licensure </strong></h3>\n<li>MD/DO degree from an accredited program.</li>\n<li>BE or BC General Psychiatry through ABPN.</li>\n<li>Licensed to practice in the State of AK or the ability to obtain an AK medical license.</li>\n<li>Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.</li>\n<p><strong>About UHS</strong></p>\n<p>North Star Behavioral Health is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc.
