    "description": "<p>Houses of Hope supports Nebraska communities by empowering individuals impacted by substance use and mental health to achieve recovery and independence, build healthy relationships, and give back to their communities. </p>\n<p><br>Houses of Hope is excited to announce the development of our new Short-Term Residential (STR) Program, scheduled to open in Fall 2026 following renovation of our new facility at 4740 A Street. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our team ahead of opening and play a critical leadership role in shaping and launching this new program.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Opportunity</span><br>This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational leader in a new residential program designed to provide high-quality, trauma-responsive care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Program Manager will be instrumental in building program operations from the ground up. Partnering with leadership, helping prepare the facility and systems, and ultimately leading day-to-day operations once the program opens.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are beginning recruitment early to ensure we find the right candidate and allow for meaningful onboarding, planning, and program development prior to launch. The anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2026.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster and maintain a safe, welcoming, trauma-responsive environment for all individuals served.</li>\n<li>Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the STR program, serving up to 24 male clients.</li>\n<li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support coordination across clinical, nursing, and direct care teams.</li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n<li>Coordinate daily programming, schedules, and client activities.</li>\n<li>Oversee facility operations, maintenance needs, and program supply inventory.</li>\n<li>Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate direct care staff.</li>\n<li>Coordinate team meetings and training for direct care staff.</li>\n<li>Promote staff engagement, accountability, and retention.</li>\n<li>Manage required certifications and training in accordance with regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Lead and coordinate responses to behavioral health crises, medical emergencies, and critical incidents.</li>\n<li>Review shift documentation and incident reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.</li>\n<li>Maintain audit-ready documentation, including shift notes, group notes, and incident reports.
