In this role, you&rsquo;ll ensure that our maintenance buildings, barns, and lawns are pristine, secure, and up to safety standards.<br><br><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.7.18/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></span><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following:&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Responsible for keeping maintenance buildings clean and secure as well as surrounding yard area.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the race track as directed by immediate foreman.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Responsible for upkeep of lawn, all tracks and barns.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Operates company vehicles as required.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on all equipment as assigned.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull;&nbsp;</span><span style=\"white-space: pre; font-size: 16px;\">S</span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">upports other Maintenance Engineers as needed and assigned. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Responsible for all back stretch clean up and barn maintenance as directed by immediate foreman.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Responsible for cleaning horse manure from paddocks and assigned stables.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; All other duties as assigned.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">High School diploma or GED required</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Tractor driving experience preferred. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prior experience working closely with horses and people in stressful situations is helpful</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules and regulations, technical procedure manuals, instructions, and basic correspondence, reports and memos. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Effective communication and organizational skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk or hear. &nbsp;The Associate is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. &nbsp;The Associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The Associate is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
