At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” – Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Visa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. </strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports the coordination of interrelating activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, and customers, design, and engineering efforts.</li>\n <li>Responsible for organizational, leadership, communication, management, and problem-solving skills on the project(s).</li>\n <li>May monitor and report on the financial status of the project(s) and is responsible for subcontract and contract administration.</li>\n <li>Supports development of job progress schedule to ensure that actual construction parallels with the schedule.</li>\n <li>Purchases and monitors the delivery of all needed materials for their scope of responsibility on the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications.</li>\n <li>Negotiates contracts with trade partners and vendors for their trade scope of responsibility, eliminating scope gap and limiting project risk for their scope of responsibility.</li>\n <li>Reviews and approves trade partner and vendor payment requests.</li>\n <li>Evaluates change order requests from trade partners in a timely fashion.</li>\n <li>Works with design and engineering teams to ensure project(s) is/are designed, procured, and constructed within the boundaries of operating guidelines, while conforming to technical requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Prepares and presents many of the various reports to successfully manage the project(s), such as monthly red files, progress analysis/schedules, billings, status reports, etc.</li>\n <li>Organizes and maintains job files to ensure continuity of workflow.</li>\n <li>Reviews shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with scope of work for their scope of responsibility.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for estimating efforts relative to the project(s) and proposal preparation efforts.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of Gray’s safety and quality programs on site.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The new team member is required to have a minimum of four years of experience in construction management and have the technical knowledge and experience supporting projects in an Assistant Project Manager role</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Possesses advanced computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office, mobile devices, and innovative programs/software provided by Gray.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled.  Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.  May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations.  Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime will be required. Travel will be required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Will supervise project support team members, as well as subcontractors. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
