    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purpose of Role: </span></p>\n<p>Veovo is a market leader in smart airport management technology. Our software is used by the world’s best airports to improve how they run their operations and deliver brilliant traveller experiences. We bring innovation and pace to the market and are a frontrunner in transport-related artificial intelligence.</p>\n<p>Within our Passenger Predictability group, our solutions focus on the analysis of queue and movement patterns as well as capacity forecasts. Our product, is a cloud-based system that collects and analyzes data via proprietary (Bluetooth / WiFi) sensors, as well as third-party data sources such as camera, LiDAR, radar, infrared counters, coils, boarding cards, calendars, etc.</p>\n<p>The solution primarily helps airports to forecast passenger appearance, optimize staff resources, reduce queue and travel times, and improve the experience for the passengers. In addition, we also create solutions for road traffic, railway stations, ports, ski resorts and amusement parks, with similar work and end-results.</p>\n<p>The size of our installations are growing rapidly, and we are therefore seeking a skilled analytical person, who can implement our solutions to help airports predict passenger arrival and flow.</p>\n<p>As an Implementation Engineer, you will develop and maintain a working knowledge of our products and use this to perform a range of in-house technical tasks which configure and optimise solutions for individual customers.</p>\n<p> This will involve:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>remotely configuring sensors to deliver optimal coverage and performance    </li>\n<li>aggregating sensor data to visualise the real-world and analysing this to understand passenger movement patterns, queues, flows and predictions</li>\n<li>making implementation decisions specific to the customers environment</li>\n<li>configuring our platforms filtering engine, reports and dashboards</li>\n<li>validating the resulting metrics &amp; visualisations</li>\n</ul>\n<p> This role provides the opportunity to utilise and develop both technology and product skills along with data analyst skills.</p>\n<p>Your contribution connects our Product Development to the real-world, helping Veovo consistently deliver, maintaining the trust of our customers and ensuring their airport operations achieve the high standards that their travellers deserve.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities:<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operational</span>   Generate solution installation specifications based on proposals and product information</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of Veovo products and solutions</li>\n<li>Perform factory acceptance testing and support user acceptance testing</li>\n<li>Technical documentation for deployed solutions and user documentation</li>\n<li>Working effectively with other Veovo team members located in different countries to support Veovo solutions</li>\n<li>Maintain task estimates, status and progress for your work in the teams task management tools<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership     </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a positive influential force for technical best practice within the team.</li>\n<li>Guide other team members.</li>\n<li>Mentor other team members.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have the following:<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience / Knowledge</span>    </p>\n<ul>\n<li>4-6 years’ experience in a similar role.Configuration and optimisation of products for individual customers</li>\n<li>Applying problem-solving and logic skills to best utilise product features for real-world data &amp; scenarios</li>\n<li>Interpreting and analysing patterns in numeric and/or visualised data to gain understanding, support decision making and aid identification and resolution of problems</li>\n<li>Selection, configuration and optimisation of filters/functions to generate accurate metrics</li>\n<li>Validation of implemented solutions to demonstrate their acceptability</li>\n<li>Ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies</li>\n<li>Technical and programming skills in one or more of the following:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>o            Database scripting languages (SQL)</p>\n<p>o            Unix / Linux, Networking knowledge</p>\n<p>o            Python / shell script knowledge</p>\n<p>o            Data preparation, data aggregation, data visualisation, data analysis, statistics, R</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of managing own tasks and maintaining/reporting their status and progress in standard business tools</li>\n<li>Capable of using standard desktop software packages<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Personal Attributes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven ability to learn when exposed to new technologies</li>\n<li>Personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team or autonomously</li>\n<li>A can-do attitude</li>\n<li>An optimistic outlook on life, common sense, and a sense of humour are essential</li>\n<li>A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best</li>\n<li>High levels of energy, sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills</li>\n<li>High attention to detail</li>\n<li>Good relationship management and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>An open-minded consultative approach</li>\n<li>Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback</li>\n<li>Fluent in English – both written and spoken</li>\n</ul>",
