Take your career to the next level: Own It!</em><br><br><strong>YOUR ROLE:</strong><br><span style='font-size:15px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'>Our Industrial Maintenance Tech performs routine and non routine complex maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Maintenance Techs have the ability to work on more complex and specialized tasks that could include; electrical/electronic work, mechanics, welding, and machining</span><p>This is a 1st shift position at our Monett facility working Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm with mandatory overtime as needed. Candidates will need to be available for O/T during the week and/or weekends when needed to support production schedules and machine breakdowns.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\"><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. &nbsp;Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Makes recommendations to Maintenance Supervisor about set up, maintenance schedules and processes, and potential outsourcing of maintenance projects.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Performs routine preventive maintenance duties that include; machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changing, and equipment inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Assist in the set up of new machinery and facility layout.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Work within the company maintenance tracking system to assist in maintaining a record of preventative and regular maintenance performed.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Communicates equipment failures and unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Directs other Maintenance Techs as needed.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Opens clogged drains, fixes leaks, and performs other simple plumbing jobs.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Assist with basic landscaping work as needed to include; pulling of weeds and brush, snow removal, salting of walkways, and other unskilled yard work.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Works with others to maintain a high value on a safe workforce.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Maintains good housekeeping in the department.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Performs maintenance work to the maintenance processes to meet IATF 16949:2016 standards.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management.</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Regular attendance and satisfactory performance of the above listed duties is also essential to this position. Mandatory overtime maybe required and is also essential to meeting customer and performance demands.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;font-size:15px;'>Other duties may be assigned as needed.</span></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong><br><span style='font-size:15px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'>Work is performed with exposure to harsh conditions such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended periods of time.&nbsp;</span>All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.</p><br><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong><br>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. &nbsp;Sitting 10%, standing/walking 90%. Frequently lift and or move up to 35 pounds to 50 pounds.<br><br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED</strong><br>Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of reliability. They will have motivation and drive to get the job done. They will be enthusiastic workers interested in growth and improvement.
