This position performs routine troubleshooting, field installations and repairs of chemical feed and control equipment while maintaining high quality standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Develop positive relationships by maintaining continuous contact with accounts to promote Company products</li><li>Perform scheduled service route in accordance with Division&rsquo;s Minimum Service Standards</li><li>Handle and install various chemical dispensing and application equipment</li><li>Handle and apply treatment products in an environmentally safe manner</li><li>Perform analyses and evaluation of treatment programs to determine product effectiveness</li><li>Assess if product application changes/adjustments are necessary&nbsp;</li><li>Routinely troubleshoot for problem/solution identification</li><li>Install and repair all chemical feed, dispensing, application and control equipment</li><li>Provide service reports on status of existing programs at each account</li><li>Perform chemical cleanings and power washings of customer equipment</li><li>Make recommendations for improving existing treatment programs</li><li>Properly care for and maintain all Company-owned equipment including tools, instruments, safety equipment and vehicles</li><li>Comply with company safety standards including safe vehicle operation</li><li>Complete all administrative requirements including basic skills/safety training courses</li><li>Order inventory and supplies required to perform services</li><li>Ensure regular communication with service team members and sales personnel</li><li>Other similar and comparable duties as required and assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High school or technical school diploma or GED&nbsp;</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in science preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (clean driving record)</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Two years of maintenance, sanitation, water treatment industry related experience preferred</li><li>Basic pipe fitting and electrical ability a plus</li><li>Working level knowledge of water treatment fundamentals, practices, and terminology</li><li>Previous maintenance of water treatment, cooling towers, boilers and closed loop systems</li></ul><p><br><strong>SKILLS:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills</li><li>Competent use of tools &amp; safety equipment</li><li>Chemical testing &amp; interpretation</li><li>Basic understanding of water treatment, cooling towers, and closed loop systems</li><li>Computer skills including e-mail, Word, and Excel</li><li>Experience in maintenance and repairs &ndash; CIP, plumbing and electrical experience a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Effective communication (Verbal, Listening &amp; Written)</li><li>Analytical &amp; Problem Solving</li><li>Customer/Vendor Relationship and solution focused</li><li>Drive for results</li><li>Action Oriented</li><li>Critical thinking</li><li>Planning &amp; Priority Setting</li><li>Technical Knowledge</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Trust&nbsp;</li><li>Administrative skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Sit or stand for extended periods of time</li><li>Capability to move up to 60 lbs. by hand and 300lbs with use of hand truck</li><li>Ability to climb stairs and ladders</li><li>Visual acuity necessary to utilize computers and electronic devices</li><li>Extra hours and some travel may be required</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
